This photo shows just how much work it takes to transform a person with the use of make-up. A true make-up artist creates individual pieces of art work while using make-up. Preparing for a photo shoot takes several hours of preparation and I believe that the artist wanted to educate the viewers just how much time and effort to get ready for the perfect shot. Its a very detail orientated process and must be seen as such. An artist usually captures the shot after all of the preparation is done, however in this photo the artist demonstrated the complexity of getting the model ready.

This shot looks like they aren't ready for the real shot. More like they are still preparing for the real shot and are expected to be done before the shot gets taken but no, this itself is a shot that had been prepared for. True, This might seem like a preparatory act is being shown in the picture, it is only suffice enough to say that the message being passed here is to highlight the importance of preparing adequately for whatever one wants to do. Even for this photo, adequate preparation must have been made for it.
