This is a very visually engaging piece. It keeps the eye moving in all different directions and to all different depths, just like the tangle of limbs in a forest. The lighting choices were intelligent in this image as well. The cool highlights on the limbs are very reminiscent of the light of a near full moon and the cool purple feels like a very appropriate choice to signify nighttime. Compositionally, the near symmetry and the domed shape created by the positive space are very pleasing, it gives the image a pleasant feeling of fullness, like the canopy of a tree.

A look at the colors and you are totally hooked on this picture. The nude models signify plants and the light being cast upon them makes it look like it is light from the moon and it is casting its reflection on the bodies of the ladies. The hue in this picture which represents the mixture of the moonlight and the darkness further enhances the beauty of the artwork for sure. I could go on reveling in the beauty of this ��midnight forest��
