Description
This artwork by Robert WK Clark is a complex composition of three women who are depicted with their legs spread and strategically covering the private parts of the models. It is mirrored and turned vertically so that it is at first sight not a nude image but a complex interlacing of curves and lines. It is only with closer inspection that the viewer can realize that there are three models strategically positioned. The lighting is dim and the contrast is high so that there are black areas in the background and some of the body parts are highlighted. The lighting also further stresses the natural skin color of the models, as well as the beautiful lines of the female legs.
This piece is an attention grabber; it calls to the viewer and beckons him closer to see, to understand what it is. The artist utilized strategic lighting and placement of limbs and tipping the mirrored images vertically so that it creates dramatic eye-catching lines. Upon closer inspection, the work reveals the hidden female forms and the beautiful varying natural skin tones. Although it is a realistic photograph, there were manipulations added, the tipping and mirroring that made it more enigmatic, and therefore interesting. Ordinarily, it would be just another realistic picture of three womens legs. Clarks piece is far from ordinary, not just three womens legs.
The art piece is complex in that it calls out to one, makes one turn their head this way and that way so as to realize what it is. Then to step back and appreciate the work of the three women and the great vision of the artist in being able to make one give his creation a few minutes of their time and attention. It calls out and it is an interesting concept, one that entails thinking with your head to the side. This makes it very unique and very original, a fascinating work of art, a clever manipulation of lines and women. Please celebrate its simple humour and straightforward approach to trickery, which grabs ones attention. Yet it is a beautiful representation of three women with gorgeous legs captured well by wonderfully creative artist.

The overall feeling of this promotes that we are connected. The movement of the different bodies is unique and complex. It is impressive that the artist was able to get these models in this pose. The coordination alone must have been challenging. It is unlike any other artwork I have seen and it shows the artist true talent. He captured the beauty while also showing that we are all intertwined. It also demonstrates how people can work together to create art. Its powerful and relaxing at the same time.

This reminds me of a centipede, which to me, represents balance, coordination, ability to survive stress (we all know how hard they are to kill), and beauty of movement. The centipede possesses several virtues that are powerful and valuable and which any person would be wise to emulate or divine. One who has the power of the centipede will see enhanced fortune and an improved social life.
