The use of light in this piece is superb. The washed out quality engages the brain to use Gestalt to complete the form. The absence of contour on the right side opens up this great opportunity for movement and dynamic visual balance. The weight of the shadow on the figures right side and the shadow on the gun on the right side of the image play this nice balancing act that keeps volleying the eye back and forth between the two sides of the images. The little hints of color in her skin, hair and face add a nice treat for the eye and dimension so that the image doesn’t become too stark.

By far one of my favorite photos. It shows how sexy and powerful a female can be with a gun. I definitely enjoy that only one of her eyes is showing. I was immediately drawn to her gorgeous face. The sensuality of the photo leaves the viewer wanting more to see. The fact that she is holding two guns makes her seem dangerous and in charge. The pearl necklace makes her seem classy, however her make-up and black bra makes her seem like she is not afraid to take chances. This is a powerful photo especially with being able to see down the barrel of the gun.
