Wildlife photography is a challenging and frustrating endeavor. For every 1,000 photos you take, maybe one will be technically perfect and also capture the magic of the animal's spirit. I've been shooting large cats for years, and I can tell you that they are notoriously difficult to photograph well. They are constantly on the move, which makes getting a sharp photo difficult. And when they are resting, they often blend in so well with their surroundings that it can be hard to even find them, let alone get a good shot. But when everything comes together and you finally get that perfect photo, it is all worth it. There is nothing quite like capturing the beauty and power of a large cat in all its splendor.
