Looking at this art work, I can see a woman holding a sword on her right hand. Her hair is decorated with light green color which matches the painting on her lips and eye blows. The woman posture suggests that she is in the fighting mood and ready to prove her skills. Am impressed by the way the artist has used light balance and color gradation. In simple words, I think he was trying to show how color can affect the mood of the piece and how color can bring out the messages evoked in each work of art. As a viewer, I can interpret that the art work is designed to show how women are brave hearted beings and they can fight to defend themselves.

The bright green make-up application and the hair color immediately grabbed my attention, however after further examining the photo it is apparent that the dagger is a strong focal point. The uniqueness of the knife brings about intrigue as to where she got it and what she has used it for. It makes her look dominant, not only because of the knife but because of the expression on her face. Her eyes look like she means business and that nobody should mess with her. The boldness of the green adds an artistic flair and gives the photo a boldness. I like the fact that she is not smiling it only adds to her dominance.
